Analysis and Backup Options

Monday 6/17

Streamer of the Day

Randy Vasquez takes on the Phillies in Philly. Honestly, this is a terrible terrible streaming day and I only do this if I have to. The Phillies are a tough offense to face but we are more so relying on Vasquez's skill set here. He gets a ton of horizontal movement on his pitches and he does throw mid 90’s.

Strikeout Upside

Randy Vasquez.

Ratio Play (High Floor)

Randy Vasquez.

Win/QS Potential

Randy Vasquez.

If I Had to Rank The Top Five

  1. Randy Vasquez at PHI

  2. David Peterson at TEX

  3. Jose Soriano vs MIL

  4. Cal Quantrill vs LAD

Tuesday 6/18

Streamer of the Day

Alec Marsh stymied the Yankees in his last start. They had trouble getting to him and Marsh really showed how well he can pitch. He has a 3.48 SIERA in the last two weeks and he takes on a terrible offense in Oakland.

Strikeout Upside

Alec Marsh and Spencer Schwellenbach.

Ratio Play (High Floor)

Alec Marsh and Lance Lynn.

  5. Hogan Harris vs KCR

Wednesday 6/19

Streamer of the Day

Another tough streaming day here. We are going to go with the very inconsistent Sean Manaea here. He takes on the Rangers in Texas. It is a decent pitchers park and the Rangers have gone ice cold with a 67 wRC+ in the last week.

Strikeout Upside

Sean Manaea and Andrew Heaney.

Thursday 6/20

Streamer of the Day

This week is a rough one for streaming ladies and gentlemen. Keaton Winn draws the start in St. Louis here. Winn has tremendous underlying numbers with a 112 Stuff+ but the Cardinals do hit RHP well. We shall see with this one!

Keaton Winn and Logan Allen.

Friday 6/21

Streamer of the Day

There isn’t much to say about Carlos Carrasco. I will say, he has seen a recent spike in his swinging strike rate so that is a good sign. He takes on the Blue Jays who we all know is a complete mess of a team. They don’t strike out much but they also don’t hit the ball very hard.

Strikeout Upside

Patrick Sandoval and Trevor Rogers.

Ratio Play (High Floor)

Carlos Carrasco.

Win/QS Potential

Carlos Carrasco and Cooper Criswell.

If I Had to Rank The Top Five

  1. Carlos Carrasco vs TOR

  2. Cooper Criswell at CIN

  3. Patrick Sandoval at LAD

  4. Joey Estes vs MIN

  5. Trevor Rogers vs SEA

Saturday 6/22

Streamer of the Day

Chris Paddack’s last start was a good one. Yes, he faced a bad offense but his velocity remained up and he did induce a good amount of whiffs. I still think he figures it out at some point. He takes on Oakland in this one making this a no-brainer.

Strikeout Upside

Chris Paddack, Frankie Montas, and Tylor Megill.

Ratio Play (High Floor)

Chris Paddack, Tylor Megill, Andrew Thorpe, and Frankie Montas.

Win/QS Potential

Chris Paddack, Tylor Megill, and Spencer Arrighetti.
