MLB Farm System Rankings Entering 2025

Farm system rankings are highly subjective. They are fun to rank, but it is really hard because there are so many variables. Does the system have several top-25 prospects but no depth? What about the Red Sox who are loaded at the top despite trading away Kyle Teel and Braden Montgomery? Have fewer high-end prospects, but a ton of future regulars? There are quite a few ways to chop it up, but after writing up every team's top 30 prospects, I took a shot at ranking the top 30 farm systems for each MLB team.

What goes into the rankings? 

• Number of Top 100 prospects on my list

• Talent at the top of the system(Star Power)

• Depth of the farm system's Top 30-50

• Pitching and Hitting Strengths
