Dynasty FAAB and Waiver Report: April 12, 2025

Chris Clegg provides over 100 players to add this week in dynasty leagues' FAAB or Waiver run.

If you are looking for a detailed breakdown on what FAAB is and how to use the waiver wire, check out last week’s introduction.

Being successful on the waiver wire or in FAAB is critical to success in a dynasty league. Knowing your league and league’s tendencies can set you up nicely as well.

It is probably good to first explain, what is FAAB or a waiver wire? FAAB is an acronym for Free Agent Acquisition Budget which is a way that you can add players to your team’s roster. Usually, FAAB runs once a week, and for a lot of leagues it is on Sunday nights.

Being able to decipher whether a player is legit or not is huge. Don’t overspend on small sample performances. Looking under the hood and being able to decipher what is real and what is not.

The Dynasty FAAB reports is for members only. Get an edge and find out about over 100 players that are worth adding in dynasty leagues and how much to spend! We also added a cut list this week of players it is a good idea to go ahead and cut. You will also get access to a ton of other great dynasty resources to help you win!

Dynasty Faab and Waiver Report

Shallow Leauge Adds

Casey Mize, RHP, Detroit Tigers (85% on Fantrax)

FAAB Suggestion: 3-5% (Mize looks legit at this point)

Kyle Finnegan, RHP, Washington Nationals (78%)

FAAB Suggestion: 3-5% (Finnegan is racking up saves, if you are weak there, make the move and be willing to spend more)

Ben Rice, 1B, New York Yankees (76%)

FAAB Suggestion: 3-5% (Pay for the Breakout)

Kyren Paris, 2B, Los Angeles Angels (75%)

FAAB Suggestion: 3-5% (Even if he slows down, Paris should be universally rostered)

Mitchell Parker, LHP, Washington Nationals (75%)

FAAB Suggestion: 1-2% (Underrated pickup if you need an arm)

Jose Alvarado, LHP, Philadelphia Phillies (72%)

FAAB Suggestion: 3-5% (Same case as Finnegan, pay for saves if you need)

Geraldo Perdomo, SS, Arizona Diamondbacks (71%)

Sal Frelick, OF, Milwaukee Brewers (70%)

FAAB Suggestion: 1-2% (The Jacob Wilson of the OF)

Sean Murphy, C, Atlanta Braves (69%)

Tyler Mahle, RHP, Texas Rangers (54%)

FAAB Suggestion: 1-2% (Walk rate will come down and Mahle is putting up strong ratios)

FAAB Suggestion: 1% (It is probably not legit, but I’d add him to see where it goes or trade him)

Shane Smith, RHP, Chicago White Sox (44%)

FAAB Suggestion: 2-4% (Was very surprised when I saw this roster rate, especially with how Smith is pitching)
