2025 Top First Basemen for Dynasty Fantasy Baseball

We won’t get too deep into the analysis because the reality is you know most everything you need to know to about the Major Leaguers at this point. Prospects are where the true writeups and reports are needed.

Tier 1: Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Guerrero enters his age 26 season in 2025, coming off an impressive performance in which he slashed .323/.396/.544 with 30 home runs. While Guerrero has not come close to matching the 48 home run season he put up in 2021, the power is legit, and he should be a consistent 30-home run threat year after year.

The quality of contact with Guerrero is some of the best in all of baseball as he ranks 95th percentile or higher in average exit velocity, hard-hit rate, xSLG, xwOBA, xwOBAcon, and bat speed. The contact ability is also rather strong as Guerrero struck out in just 13.8 percent of plate appearances last season and ran an in-zone contact rate of 85 percent.

He stands alone at the top of the first base rankings in his own tier.
